AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Sadyr Japarov on his election as the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Japarov's election campaign team said.
According to the statement, Erdogan confirmed his readiness to develop relations with Kyrgyzstan, strengthen bilateral cooperation between the countries and wished peace and prosperity to the friendly Kyrgyz people.
Japarov won landslide in Kyrgyzstani presidential election on Jan 10 with around 80% of votes.
