Kyrgyzstan hopes to receive first coronavirus vaccine doses in H1 2021 - Acting PM

AKIPRESS.COM - The delivery of coronavirus vaccines to Kyrgyzstan will be elaboated in the nearest time, acting Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov said.
"We have requested all materials necessary for certification of this vaccine in line with international requirements. As soon as we obtain the informaiton on safety, efficacy, side effects, we will work on delivery of first doses of vaccines. I think this issue will be resolved in the first half of the year," Artem Novikov said.
Anyone willing may be vaccinated. Vaccination will be voluntary, Novikov said.
"Risk groups will be vaccinated first, including medical workers, teachers and those in close contact with people. The information on cost of the vaccine will be provided later. The main thing is that this process is ongoing and hopefully in a positive manner," the acting Prime Minister said.
