Mongolia tests 1,170,370 of its people for coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - A total of 1,170,370 people were tested for coronavirus in Mongolia, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Emergency Commission Ya. Sodbaatar said.
509,170 of them passed rapid tests and 661,200 PCR tests.
415,397 people passed the tests for coronavirus in Ulaanbaatar.
1,525 people are staying in 31 isolation facilities nationwide, 1,489 are close contacts and 36 people who arrived on chartered flights.
Since December 24, 2020, there are 4,200 health workers, 1,500 emergency workers, 2,135 professional inspectors, 2,804 police officers, 840 staff members of border protection, or a total of 11,479 people are on duty.
As of today, the total number of coronavirus cases in Mongolia has reached 1,349, including 887 recoveries and 2 deaths.
Mongolia's population is 3.17 million.
