Omurbek Tekebayev no longer Ata Meken faction leader

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Aisuluu Mamashova was chosen as the leader of the Ata Meken faction. The decision was made at the faction's meeting on January 5, Mamashova told AKIpress.
Previous leader Omurbek Tekebayev is still a MP, she said.
"An appeal against the two courts' decisions has been filed to the Supreme Court," she said.
On Dec 25, 2020, the Bishkek city court upheld the ruling of the administrative court of Bishkek that invalidated reinstatement of parliamentary mandate of Omurbek Tekebayev.
On November 23, the administrative court of Bishkek declared the decision of the Central Election Commission reinstating parliamentary mandate of Omurbek Tekebayev invalid.
