22 new cases of coronavirus, 1 death reported in Mongolia for a day

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia confirmed 22 new cases of coronavirus yesterday after 11,581 PRC tests, Head of the surveillance department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) Amarjargal Ambaselmaa reported on Jan 5.
As of today, the total number of coronavirus cases in Mongolia has reached 1308.
6 more people recovered from COVID-19 during the day. The total number of recoveries reached 884.
413 patients are being treated in hospitals.
"On January 4, a 76-year-old man diagnosed with COVID-19, chronic heart failure, arrhythmias and chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremity died on the fifth day of treatment at the National Center for Communicable Diseases," said Ambaselmaa. A total of 2 deaths from COVID-19 were reported in Mongolia.
