Official opening of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Friendship Hospital to be opened officially upon end of COVID-19 pandemic

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Cengiz Firat on December 21. The sides discussed the outcomes of visit of Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to Turkey on November 9-11, the Foreign Ministry reported.
Foreign Minister Kazakbaev thanked Turkey for assistance provided to Kyrgyzstan for COVID-19 response.
Ambassador Cengiz Firat said Turkey will continue cooperation in health care sector and is read to provide necessary assistance to Kyrgyzstan for response to COVID-19 pandemic.
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency is ready to carry out the project on refurbishment of and provision of equipment for outpatient clinics in the regions of Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Cengiz Firat added.
The Health Minister of Turkey will visit Kyrgyzstan upon end of COVID-19 pandemic for official opening of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Friendship Hospital in Bishkek. The Health Minister will be accompanied by a group of businessmen active in health care sector, who will attend Issyk-Kul Business Forum.
Further expansion of commercial, economic cooperation, investment and other projects were considered during this meeting as well.
