Mobile laboratory from Russia arrives in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The mobile laboratory has arrived in Kyrgyzstan from Russia on December 21, Health Ministry's representative Ainura Akmatova told a briefing today.
"Kyrgyzstan was handed in a certificate for handover of mobile laboratory on December 8 under an agreement with Russia. This way Kyrgyzstan has 4 mobile laboratories in total. The mobile laboratories were very helpful in coronavirus testing in remote parts of the country," Ainura Akmatova said.
19 ambulances were purchased as part of emergency COVID-19 response project.
A 100-bed infectious disease hospital was inaugurated in Osh.
Multidisciplinary teams hold trainings for epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists, intensivists in all regions of the country every week, she said.
