AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan is tightening coronavirus-linked restrictions from December 25 to January 5, the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan said.
In connection with expected growth in acute respiratory viral infections, influenza, and coronavirus in January-February 2021, the government decided to ban entertainment, sports and other public mass events, including new year celebrations and corporate parties.
The government also ordered to reduce the prices anti-COVID-19 drugs in the retail networks by an average of 24%.
The Ministry of Education decided that 70% of classes will go offline from the 3rd quarter of the academic year for seniors (9th, 11th, 12th grades) and 30% will be held online.
The freshman students of colleges and universities will start having combined (offline and online) classes from the 2nd semester of the academic year.
