COVID-19 precautionary measures not respected during campaigning events of presidential candidates - CEC Chair

AKIPRESS.COM - Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova today met with members of territorial election commission during visit to Naryn town.
She outlined the work carried out by the Central Election Commission to prepare the upcoming early presidential elections and the referendum.
"Campaigning activities started since December 15. Since the very first day we saw COVID-19 precautionary measures are not respected at meetings of presidential candidates with electors. No threats to health of citizens should be posed during the elections," the CEC Chair said.
"I ask election commissions to follow all rules. Equal conditions should be created for all candidates," she added.
