37 ambulances purchased on traffic ticket payments in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan will receive 216 ambulances in total for a year, but still this is not enough, Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karataev said in Parliament today. The Deputy Health Minister said 26 ambulances were purchased this year. 37 ambulances were purchased on fines collected for traffic violations. 17 ambulances were purchased by sponsors.
Most of functioning ambulances now are outdated, the Deputy Health Minister said.
