Russian Speaker to Kyrgyz Speaker: 'Politicians in some countries immediately start looking to US when speaking of integration, but when it gets harder, they turn to Russia'

AKIPRESS.COM - Integration is the future and looking to what countries to integrate with is way more important due to different factors, said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin at the meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart Talant Mamytov. Politicians in some countries "immediately start looking in the direction of the United States when speaking of the integration, but when it gets harder, they turn to Russia," the press service of the State Duma reports.
Volodin noted that nobody in Europe "waits and welcomes the citizens from the CIS countries."
"The Kyrgyz Republic has always been and remains a reliable partner of the Russian Federation based on many years of friendship and mutual understanding. I would like to inform about the firm and principled position that the Kyrgyz Republic remains fully committed to all its international obligations and strict implementation of all previously signed bilateral and multilateral treaties and agreements," said Mamytov for his part.
