Tajikistan and UK discuss bilateral ties

AKIPRESS.COM - The online meeting took place between Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda and UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice Wendy Morton on November 30. The parties expressed interest in developing bilateral relations in political, economic and humanitarian fields.
During the meeting, the issues of joint efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and mitigating the impacts of climate change were also discussed.
Importance of strengthening cooperation within the framework of international organizations and financial institutions was underlined, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said.
