AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of a 200-bed infectious disease hospital starts in Kadamjai district of Batken region with support of Uzbekistan.
Batken region governor Janybek Jalalov met the delegation of Uzbekistan led by Uzbekistan Railways Chairman Husnitdin Hasilov at the railway station in the town of Kyzyl-Kiya.
Governor Jalalov thanked Uzbekistan for assistance, adding it will help the region in Covid-19 response and will further strengthen friendly ties between two countries.
Uzbekistan dispatched 40 modular containers by railway. The hospital will be erected on the territory of Kadamjai district hospital. The area is being prepared now for erection of the container hospital.
Construction of the hospital is supposed to take 10 days. It will be provided with furniture and medical equipment. Doctors from Uzbekistan will arrive when the construction is finished.
