Billionaire Alisher Usmanov to build business center in Namangan

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan-born Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov will build a business center in Namangan, region governor Shavkat Abdurazzakov said.
A business center will occupy 6 hectares. Its construction is supposed to start in spring 2021. A new complex will include a congress hall, business school, hotel, ecopark, sport complex, artificial ponds, fountains and parking space.
"Construction of the international business center will begin in spring. International symposiums and business forums will be held there in future. This will accelerate investments for Namangan and will create broad opportunities for business tourism. The center will become a unique brand of Namangan," the region governor stated.
Alisher Usmanov was born in Chust district of Namangan region of Uzbekistan. According to Forbes, his wealth is estimated at $13.4 billion.
