Consumer prices grew by 5.3% in Kyrgyzstan in 10 months

AKIPRESS.COM - ?onsumer prices grew by 5.3% in Kyrgyzstan in January-October 2020 compared to December of the previous year, said the National Statistics Committee.
Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 9.6%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products - by 5.8%, tariffs for services rendered to the population - by 1.7%, prices for non-food products - 0.5%.
The biggest growth in consumer prices and tariffs since the beginning of the year was recorded in Talas region - by 8.5%, which is due to the increase in prices for food products and soft drinks by 16.6%.
