Japarov: 'We will develop democratic foundations of our country'

AKIPRESS.COM - All citizens have equal rights in Kyrgyzstan, acting President and Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov said at the forum "United People - Developed Country". "We lived through two revolutions. 90% of those present in this room now witnessed and experienced these revolutions. Since the very first days of my work, I ordered law enforcement agencies to avoid persecutions for open statements, regardless of ethnic origin," Japarov said.
He said after the revolutions some journalists were persecuted and attacked.
"We will develop democratic foundations of our state. We will defend each citizen regardless of differences," Japarov said and suggested to hold such forums every year to discuss critical issues.
