Acting President of Kyrgyzstan congratulates US President-elect Joe Biden on election win

AKIPRESS.COM - Acting President Sadyr Japarov congratulated Joe Biden on election as President of the United States, the press office of the president said.
Japarov's congratulatory telegram said the USA is at the historical stage of its development and is going to reach new height under Biden's leadership.
The Kyrgyz Republic has always paid special attention to the mutually beneficial development of Kyrgyz-American relations, he said.
"I'm glad that negotiations on a draft framework cooperation agreement are moving forward. I am confident that joint efforts will bring Kyrgyz-American relations to a new qualitative level for the benefit of both peoples," the telegram reads.
Japarov wished Joe Biden good health and success.
Having defeated incumbent Donald Trump in the 2020 United States presidential election, Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th president on January 20, 2021.
