State Committee for Industry denies arson at gold deposit in south of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - There was no purposeful arson at the gold deposit in the south of Kyrgyzstan, said Head of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Jyrgalbek Sagynbayev.
Welding works are blamed for fire that engulfed the building after the fabric caught flames, he said.
The owners admitted that it was an accidental fire.
Fire engulfed the Full Gold Mining enterprise in Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region on October 19.
No injuries were reported.
