Former head of Kara-Suu district Tilek Matraimov diagnosed with double pneumonia

AKIPRESS.COM - Former head of Kara-Suu district Tilek Matraimov was diagnosed with double pneumonia, the district administration said. Matraimov is receiving a treatment, his health condition is stable.
On October 4, Matraimov was on labor vacation, and after the post-parliamentary election crisis in Kyrgyztsan on October 6 Ruslan Mamatov declared himself the head of Kara-Suu district. Meanwhile Matraimov crossed the border of Uzbekistan illegally and was detained.
Yesterday, the Osh region administration said that Tilek Matraimov was dismissed as head of the district on October 16.
Matraimov and two more citizens Ziyabiddinbek Kochkorbayev and Mahsud Akhmedov are suspected of illegal border crossing. After being detained in early Octobery, they were released from custody under house arrest.
