Bee-keepers of At-Bashi district donate 550 kg of honey to needy families

AKIPRESS.COM - Bee-keepers of At-Bashi district of Naryn region donated 550 kilos of honey for needy families.
They handed over honey to the district administration for further distribution among 220 families in the district.
The planned honey festival was not held due to coronavirus pandemic, Ajibek Ajibaev, chairman of the union of bee-keepers, said.
The bee-keepers decided to hold charity campaign instead and to donate honey to people who can't afford buying it.
The union includes 243 bee-keepers.
