CEC files appeal to Supreme Court against ruling annulling its decision to set repeat parliamentary elections

AKIPRESS.COM - The Supreme Court has received the cassation appeal of the Central Election Commission against the ruling of the administrative court of Bishkek. On October 24, the administrative court invalidated the decision of the Central Election Commission to schedule the repeat parliamentary elections for December 20.
On October 28, the Central Election Commission has submitted the cassation appeal to the Supreme Court, but its appeal was returned over irregularities with payment of the state duty.
The Supreme Court's press service said the appeal was submitted again after all irregularities were addressed.
