CEC files appeal to Supreme Court against ruling invalidating its decision to set repeat parliamentary elections

AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Election Commission filed the cassation appeal to the Supreme Court against the ruling of the administrative court of Bishkek, AKIpress was told in the Central Election Commission. On October 24, the administrative court sustained the claims of Aktiv party and the Coalition for Democracy and Civil Society who sought invalidation of the decision of the Central Election Commission to schedule the repeat parliamentary elections for December 20.
This way the court canceled the decision of the Central Election Commission to schedule the repeat elections, which was made on October 21.
Lawyers of the Central Election Commission filed the cassation appeal to the Supreme Court on October 27.
