Arrest of bodyguard of former president Almazbek Atambayev upheld

AKIPRESS.COM - The Bishkek City Court upheld the decision of the Pervomay District Court against former employee of the 9th service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Kanat Sagymbayev to keep him in custody, Kunduz Joldubaeva said October 26 on her page in social networks. Sagymbayev will stay in pre-trial detention center-1 for two months.
He is suspected of organizing mass disorders in Bishkek.
Sagymbayev was the personal bodyguard of former president Almazbek Atambayev.
