Security forces detained a mercenary on his way to Syria war zone

AKIPRESS.COM - A terrorist recruit from Kyrgyzstan was detained on his way to Syria conflict zone, said the National Security Committee on October 22. A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained October 20 in the framework of criminal probe into mercenarism attempt.
The suspect had been earlier enrolling people into jihadism and sent them from Kyrgyzstan to Syria to join international terrorist organization.
The mercenary was detained on his way to Syria. He was taken to the GKNB temporary detention facility.
Other people involved in the recruitment and transfer of terrorists are being identified and searched.
