Deputy Prime Minister comments on question if Raim Matraimov's detention was staged

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of the State National Security Committee fulfilled the task they were assigned of, said Deputy Prime Minister Maksat Mamytkanov during a briefing on the detention of Raim Matraimov. "People doubt the detention. They say that the detention looked like a theater play. Several people were detained, it took place at a gas station across the street from the National Security Committee building. One of the detainees was allegedly recognized as Dastan Jumabekov's relative. What do you think about it?" journalists asked Mamytkanov.
Mamytkanov said the detention was real, Matraimov turned himself in as he is being probed.
"The question is different how it will be investigated further. Of course work will be done further. We set the task to bring the case to the end. The Matraimov schemes are not fake or fiction. Now law enforcement bodies should give answers to the society and journalists. In a certain time everybody should get reliable and complete information," he said.
