AKIPRESS.COM - The session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan has started in Ala Archa State Residence on October 16.
76 MPs are present in the session room, Speaker Kanat Isaev said.
The agenda of the session included: resignation of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, abolishment of the state of emergency in Bishkek.
MP Talant Mamytov (Respublika-Ata Jurt) suggested to consider lift of state of emergency in Bishkek first.
The parliamentarians supported the first issue: the state of emergency has been lifted.
President Jeenbekov declared state of emergency in Bishkek on October 9. Since the Parliament did not consider the order within 3 days, the President reintroduced the state of emergency on October 12 from 8.00 p.m. of October 12 to 7.00 a.m. of October 19.
