Speaker Isaev explains why he refused from presidential duties

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament Speaker Kanatbek Isaev has told why he refused to perform presidential duties.
"In view of the current socio-political situation and crucial tasks faced by the legislative body on stabilization of the situation in the country, I have made the decision to concentrate my efforts on work of the Parliament. Also, since the term of the sixth convocation of the Parliament expires, I find it impossible to perform presidential duties," he said.
Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov told his supporters rallying outside the Government House yesterday that he had taken over presidential duties.
