Actions of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan in case of President's resignation

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on October 15 made the decision to resign. His statement was released by the president's press service.
MP Kanat Kerezbekov, Chairman of the Constitutional Legislation Committee, commented on the actions of the Parliament in such case.
According to the law on procedural rules of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, the President's powers are considered terminated after the letter of resignation is submitted to the Parliament or the public announcement of resignation made by the President.
The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan acknowledges resignation and the respective protocol is issued, MP Kerezbekov said.
