Infectious disease department opens in regional hospital in Karakol after refurbishment

AKIPRESS.COM - A new 35-bed infectious disease department was opened in the Issyk-Kul regional hospital in Karakol, hospital chief Mirbek Sagynbaev said.
The department was opened after refurbishment.
"90 beds were prepared for patients with coronavirus infection and pneumonia in the regional hospital. The new infectious disease department has additional 35 beds," the hospital chief.
The hospital has centralized oxygen supply system. The Ministry of Health delivered necessary essential medical equipment, including ventilators, bedside monitors, multifunctional beds, oxygen concentrators,
The hospital has reserve of medicines and personal protective gear, Mirbek Sagynbaev said.
