Jailed former Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev hospitalized

AKIPRESS.COM - Jailed former Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev is in the national cardiology and therapy center due to deterioration of his health, the State Penitentiary Servive said on Oct 12.
He is being guarded. Satybaldiyev was freed from prison during the unrests in Bishkek on October 7.
He was sentenced to 7.6 years for corruption during modernization of Bishkek CHPP.
On October 5, peaceful protests against the results of October 4 parliamentary elections turned violent when the White House was stormed and clashes with police occurred injuring at least 1000 people and killing 1 civilian.
Jailed politicians, including ex-President Almazbek Atambayev and ex-Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, were freed by their supporters.
