Virus hospital reconstructed and commissioned in Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - Reconstruction and turning old building of the Batken regional family medicine center into a 90-bed virus hospital was completed and put into operation, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported on October 12.
Patients will be hospitalized there upon necessity. 63 patients are being treated at the hospital today, the team reported.
The hospital was provided with heating and necessary medical equipment. 3 artificial lung ventilation devices and 60 oxygen concentrators are available at the hospital.
The region has prepared a total of 538 beds for coronavirus patients.
On Oct 12, 298 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan, including 86 new cases in Batken.
