AKIPRESS.COM - The state of emergency will take into effect since October 10, the Interior Ministry's press service reported.
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today signed the order, declaring the state of emergency in Bishkek.
The state of emergency is declared from 8.00 p.m. of October 9 until 8.00 a.m of October 21.
Deputy Interior Minister Almazbek Orozaliev has been designated Bishkek commandant for the period of state of emergency.
"The Ministry of Interior declares the state of emergency will take into effect in Bishkek since October 10 with the purpose of the soonest stabilization of the socio-political situation and restoration of public order," the Interior Ministry's press service reported.
