Situation in Bishkek calm, no looting reported, police say

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation and public order in Bishkek is stable and calm, no looting was recorded in the night, the press service of the Bishkek Main Department of Internal Affairs said Oct 9. Police officers together with volunteers continue to ensure public safety and law enforcement throughout the capital.
Public and private facilities are being protected, the statement said.
Important strategic objects are under complete control, the police said.
