National Security Committee confirms detention of Tilek Matraimov on border with Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The State National Security Committee confirmed detention of Tilek Matraimov on the border with Uzbekistan. He was with his son and nephew.
"Tilek Matraimov and his close relatives (son and nephews), bodyguard were detained by border guards of Uzbekistan during attempted illegal border crossing on October 6," the National Security Committee said.
Tilek Matraimov is younger brother of Raim Matraimov, former deputy chairman of the State Customs Service, known as Raim-Million for his alleged wealth he gained due to corruption schemes in the customs.
