Public association chairman takes post of Balykchy mayor

AKIPRESS.COM - Azamat Arnarbek uulu has taken the post of Balykchy mayor. He was nominated by local activists. Azamat Arnarbek uulu is chairman of the public association.
The mayoral position remains vacant since spring in Balykchy. The town was supposed to have local council elections, which were postponed due to coronavirus pandemic. The local council approves mayors.
Vice mayor Azis Asanaliev was performing mayoral duties.
