Protesters dismiss governor of Chatkal district

AKIPRESS.COM - Around 500 protesters dismissed Chatkal district governor, Turmush reported.
A coordination council was set up by youth in Kanysh-Kiya rural municipality, which urged locals not to attack mining companies active in the district and refrain from looting.
No one was nominated for the district governor yet. The coordination council will work on behalf of people until stabilization in the country and appointment of a new district governor.
The situation in the district is reportedly stable. Protesters dispersed.
