Uzbekistan temporarily bans entry for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and third countries

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan imposed entry restrictions for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and third countries from 12 am today, the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said.
At the same time, citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan can leave the country and citizens of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan can enter Uzbekistan, the statement said.
Cargo transportation is carried out without restrictions.
The situation in the state border as of October 6 at 15:00 is characterized as stable, the State Border Service reports.
Starting from 20:00 on September 24, the State Border Service subdivisions switched to enhanced work mode to protect borders.
The State Border Service reminds that citizens of the countries with stabilized COVID-19 situation can cross the state border of Kyrgyzstan without restrictions if they have negative PCR-test result.
