Kazakhstan takes over CICA chairmanship from Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia) countries was held on September 24 under chairmanship of Tajik Foreign MInister Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
The Tajik Foreign Minister provided the detailed information on activities, achievements and priorities of Tajikistan's chairmanship of CICA for 2 years.
Kazakhstan has taken over CICA chairmanship from Tajikistan for the next period.
The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is an inter-governmental forum for enhancing cooperation towards promoting peace, security and stability in Asia. It is a forum based on the recognition that there is close link between peace, security and stability in Asia and in the rest of the world. The key idea of the Conference is based on the priority of the indivisibility of security, joint initiative and mutually beneficial interaction of small and large states.
