3.3 km of bypass road to Kara-Keche coal field excavated

AKIPRESS.COM - The bypass road 3,300 meters in length and 4 meters wide was excavated to the Kara-Keche coal field after the previously used road was blocked by slided rocks and land. 4 meters more of the road need to be excavated, the Ministry of Transport and Roads reported.
The landslide in the Kara-Keche gorge on September 14 blocked the road to the coal field. A special commission found it is impossible to clear the road from slided land and rocks and for this reason construction of the bypass road started.
The road runs along the slope of the mountain amid rocks. The road is contructed in two shifts.
