Families of 24 medical workers who died from COVID-19 receive 10 million tenge compensations each

AKIPRESS.COM - Families of 24 medical workers, who have died from coronavirus infection and pneumonia, received 10 million tenge compensations from the government, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported.
As of September 21, 1,727 applications for compensation after being infected with COVID-19 or developing pneumonia and 24 applications for compensations over death from coronavirus were supported and financed, the Ministry said.
Most compensations were paid to medical workers in Nur-Sultan - 393 compensations, in Almaty - 373 compensations, in Shymkent - 102 compensations, in Karaganda region - 115 and Akmola region - 107.
Medical workers are paid 2 million tenge compensation in each they contract coronavirus infection or pneumonia. Families of medical workers died from COVID-19 are paid 10 million tenge compensations.
