AKIPRESS.COM - Over 785 million soms were allocated for payment of compensations to medical workers on COVID-19 frontline as of August 26, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a briefing on September 15.
Compensations are still calculated and are paid, he said.
"640 million soms were allocated until the end of this year in case more payment of compensations is needed," the Prime Minister said.
Families of medical workers who died from COVID-19 receive compensations.
"Some families already received these compensations. Special commission is working on some cases. As Prime Minister I can promise we will pay all compensations," Boronov promised.
Compensations will be paid to personnel from other services involved into COVID-19 fight.
