Over 2,600 fined in Tajikistan for wearing no masks in public places

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 2,600 people in Tajikistan were fined for failure to wear face masks in public places.
The Interior Ministry of Tajikistan said most of fined people did not wear face masks in public transport, stores and markets.
The fine varies between 116 to 290 somoni (around $11-29).
Transmission of dangerous communicable diseases will be punished with 2-5 years in prison.
Tajikistan registered first coronavirus cases on April 30. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases as of September 13 made 9,049.
