Mass flu vaccination may start since late September in Kyrgyzstan - PM

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 221.5 million soms were allocated for purchase of flu vaccines, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said during a briefing today.
Children, teachers, medical workers, vulnerable groups of population will be vaccinated first, he said.
Pneumococcal and flu vaccines will be purchased. The list of population groups for vaccination is made now.
"The Ministry of Health is developing the action plan. We will allow vaccination at all private medical centers which have such possibility. At present, 9 private clinics in Bishkek expressed readiness to provide vaccination, 5 clinics in Osh. We inspected conditions of private clinics in Osh and the permits are being issued now," PM Boronov added.
The vaccines will arrive until the end of September.
"We will assume a special control over vaccination before the end of September," the Prime Minister stated.
