Bishkek needs 32 kindergartens more

AKIPRESS.COM - Shortage of preschool education institutions remain critical in Bishkek. Kindergartens are stretched beyond capacity up to 300%, Bishkek education department chief Elmira Imanalieva said during the online conference of teachers.
The kindergartens designed for 14,360 children are in fact attended by 29,111 kids, she said.
26,423 children more are on waiting list for kindergarten admission, she added.
The analysis found 32 more kindergartens need to be built in Bishkek to provide access to preschool education, Elmira Imanalieva said.
