General Consulate of Turkey to open in Samarkand

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Consulate of Turkey will open in Samarkand by the end of 2020, the government of Uzbekistan states in decree on partnership with Turkey. According to the decree, Turkey will expand technical assistance in several fields.
Turkey and Uzbekistan will cooperate to manage health care infrastructure, to strengthen institutional and regulatory framework in seismology.
They also agreed to implement international standards in construction and efficient use of roads and apply technologies of Turkey to create e-government.
The General Consulate of Turkey will open in Samarkand by the end of 2020.
It was reported earlier that Uzbekistan and Turkey agreed to boost bilateral trade to $5 billion despite the pandemic.
