WHO hands over 100 oxygen concentrators to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - World Health Organization handed over 100 oxygen concentrators to Kyrgyzstan on August 19, the Ministry of Health reports. The humanitarian aid is valued at $59,000.
Oxygen concentrators are used in treatment of patients with respiratory infectious diseases.
The concentrators were sent in response to the request of the government of Kyrgyzstan to support COVID-19 response. The Ministry of Health will distribute oxygen concentrators between healthcare organizations across the country.
WHO has sent to Kyrgyzstan personal protective equipment, PCR-tests, laboratory equipment to collect samplers and make testing since the beginning of the pandemic.
