Ministry of Culture to launch website for electronic and audio books

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will launch book podcasts platform, Minister of Culture Azamat Jamankulov says. Cinemas, theatres, museums, libraries have been closed since March, when the government announced emergency state.
"We launched website for electronic and audio books. Famous people will read them. The books which were published earlier will be in electronic form," he said.
He added that more than 300 readers visited libraries, whereas 2 million people opened website.
Ministry is planning to launch project for reading books which will be available on phones, tablets, laptops, computers, Jamankulov added.
