Hospitals in Kyrgyzstan to receive patients depening upon specialty as before

AKIPRESS.COM - Hospitals will admit their patients as before since August 13, Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karataev told a press briefing today.
The National Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital will receive patients with measles, hepatitis, meningitis, acute enteric infections, he said.
"If necessary, we are ready to provide additional beds. Other hospitals will start receiving patients depending upon specialty since today," he said.
Due to decline in visitors, several daytime in-patient facilities were closed.
Construction of hospitals is ongoing in Bishkek, Osh and Naryn.
Other hospitals are either repaired or buildings are repurposed to serve as hospitals, he said.
