Office of main opposition candidate does not recognize preliminary voting results in Belarus presidential election

AKIPRESS.COM - The office of main opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya does not recognize the results of presidential election which Central Election Commission of Belarus announced, RIA Novosti reported. According to the office, 70%-80% of electorate voted for Tikhanovskaya in all regions of the country.
Central Election Commission of Belarus earlier reported that current president Alexander Lukashenko preliminarily gained 80.23% of votes, with voter turnout of 84.23%.
The main opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya gained 9.9% of votes. Then Anna Konopatskaya gained 1.68%, Andrei Dmitriev 1.04%, Sergei Cherechen 1.13%.
6.02% of voters voted against all candidates.
