State sanitary doctor of Uzbekistan contracts COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - State sanitary doctor of Uzbekistan and head of State Inspectorate of Epidemiological Control Nurmat Atabekov contracted COVID-19.
"Laboratory tests confirmed that I have COVID," Atabekov said and assumed that he was in contact with confirmed case.
Nurmat Atabekov noted that he does not have serious clinical symptoms and he is in hospital.
Atabekov presented epidemiological situation on coronavirus in the country during briefings every day.
The President of Uzbekistan awarded him with order for contribution to coronavirus containment on July 23.
